HARYANA   SCHEDULE CASTES FINANCE & DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION LIMITED, PANIPAT

1.    The main object of the Nigam is to provide financial assistance to scheduled caste families in the district through Commercial Banks. The family income should not exceed Rs.20000/- in rural and Rs.27500/- in the urban areas. Presently, the financial assistance is provided under different scheme like Dairy Farming, Piggery Farming, Sheep Rearing, Jhota Buggie, Camel Cart, Handloom, Shoe Making, Aata Chaki, Carpet Making, Photography, and other income generating schemes. Under the scheme 50% subsidy (maximum limit rupees 10,000/- ) and 10% margin money, which is recoverable in the five years in six monthly installment and interest is charged @ of 4% per annum.  However, 1% rebate in the rate of interest at the time of payment of last installment will be given to that loanee who will pay the loan in time.

2.    The Nigam provides financial assistance under the scheme of National Scheduled Caste Finance and Development Corporation for the purchase of Auto Rickshaw Diesel, Tata 407, Jeep (Taxi), Car Taxi, Diesel 5 Seater etc. to the Scheduled Caste families, whose annual income does not exceed Rs.40000/- in rural and Rs.55000/- in urban areas. Under the scheme Rs.10000/- presently is provided as subsidy and interest is charged @ 6% per annum.  However, 1% rebate in the rate of interest at the time of payment of last installment will be given to that loanee who will pay the loan in time and recovery is made in monthly installment in 5 years.

3.    Recently a new scheme has been started with the collaboration of "National Safai Karamcharis Finance and Development Corporation" for providing  loan facilities to the Safai Karamcharis and their dependents who are engaged wholly/partially in sanitation work.  The main object of scheme is to provide financial assistance to break away this traditional work and adopt a new income generating scheme for their upliftments and their living standard.  In this scheme there is no income criteria for getting the loan.  The new namely scheme (NSKFDC) is providing loan up to Rs.30000 to 10 Lacs as per eligibility to concerned persons.  Other terms and conditions of this scheme are the same as stated at Sr. No. 2(NSFDC) schemes except subsidy.

The Physical financial target and achievements for the year is as under :                   

Margin Money % reduced from 25% to 10%.
